Tri Lite "Stop & Go" Dock Safety Light
The Tri Lite Stop & Go Light is a safety signaling device that can help alert truck drivers and loading dock personnel to the safety status of docked or docking trucks. Stop & Go Lights are available with standard incandescent lamps or our new long-lasting LED lamps. Stop & Go Lights have many diverse applications, including signal lights for parking lots and lift gates, for inspection lanes, for access to secured areas or buildings, for car washes, for drive-up windows, and as starting signals for water slides, motocross racing, etc.

Tri Lite manufactures three different Stop & Go packages; the SG10, the SG20 and the SG30. The SG30 is the appropriate product for most loading docks. All three are available with incandescent or LED lighting. Most installation utilize 115VAC, but the lights are also available in12VDC or 24VDC. Black housings are also available.

SG10 Stop & Go LightThe SG10 is the most basic of the three packages. It consists of a housing and two lamps. Three leads exit the back of the light; a common shared by both lights, a hot for the red lamp and a hot for the green light. (115VAC lights also have a ground).

SG20 Stop & Go Light with Switch and FlasherThe SG20 is a more sophisticated product. It looks identical to the SG10 except it has a three way toggle switch on the bottom. The center setting turns the light off. Flip the switch one way and the green light comes on; flip it the other way and the red light illuminates. In addition, the SG20 has a flasher built into the unit. Electrical installation consists of two power leads (plus a ground for 115VAC). The lights are designed to be hardwired into the power supply.

SG30 Stop & Go Light Set (includes SG10 and SG20)The SG30 is the best safety communication package for most loading docks. It is a set of 2 lights - one for the inside of the dock and one for the outside. Actually, it is an SG10 and an SG20 with a 6-ft. communication cable that connects the two lights. Electrical requirements are identical to the SG20. Operation is identical to the SG20, except that the toggle switch also effects the outside light. This two light communication system drastically increases worker safety. SG30 models can also be ordered without the toggle switch for installations utilizing a remote switch. When a truck is safely parked and secured at the loading dock, the the inside light is turned to green. This indicates to the forklift driver that it is safe to enter the vehicle. Any time the green light is on inside the building, the outside light is red. This indicates to the truck driver that he is not to move the truck. Once the truck is unloaded, the inside light is turned to red. This tells the forklift rider to stay away from the truck. At the same time, the outside light is now green, so the driver knows it is safe to move the truck.
